I teach lessons in my home in Dallas Texas but for those who can not get to Dallas I also teach correspondence lessons.

You need to send me a VHS tape, mini DV tape or DVD of you playing a warm up a few scales and at least 2 pieces. One of which you feel that you play well. And the other one should demonstrate what your wanting to improve. (Note to European players: I can't play Pal tapes or DVDs.)

If possible tell me what embouchure you use (smile, pucker, lip curl ...) as well as what mouthpiece and horn. You would be amazed at how a mismatch between the mouthpiece and the horn can affect your playing.

I will watch the tape and reply to you by phone (if in the US or email if overseas) and describe how to improve on your playing based on what I saw on the tape.
